NanChang, China, Best Solar Hi-Tech Co.,LTD (hereafter referred to as "BestSOLAR")-----16th November, the completion & pilot production ceremony of large-scale and high-efficiency a-Si/¦Ì-Si tandem junction thin film solar project was held in New & Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, Nanchang, China. Many distinguished guests attended the ceremony, among them are Mr. Shang Yong, Secretary of Jiangxi Provice, Mr. Yu Xinrong, Secretary of Nanchang, Mr. Hu Xian, Mayor of Nanchang, Mr. Xu Dingming, former Director of China Energy Agency and Counselor of the State Council of China, Mr. Xu Xiaodong, former Director of NPC Environment Protection and Resource Committee and Counselor of the State Council, Mr. Wu Dacheng, General Secretary of China PV Committee, Mr. Xiong Yuanquan, General Secretary of Jiangsu PV Industry Association, Mr. Peng Xiaofeng, Chairman and CEO of LDK Solar, Dr. Fang Peng, President of BestSOLAR, Dr. Zheng Jiazhen, COO of BestSOLAR, experts of thin film from PV industry, representatives of investment firms and hundreds of other guests at home and abroad from upper and down streams of solar industrial chain.

Mr. Fang Peng, President of BestSOLAR, introduced the project on behalf of the management team. Mr. Fang said: "The completion and pilot production of BestSOLAR thin film solar project, as called large-scale and high-efficiency tandem junction thin film solar is not only a milestone for BestSOLAR but also a highlighted event for Chinese and international solar industry. The project broke ground in August, 2008, right thereafter occurred the once-in-a-century global financial crisis. Thanks to the strong support from Jiangxi Province and Nanchang municipality government, BestSOLAR management team has been working together with all of the related parties with considerable perseverance to make this happen today. The speed and efficiency of successfully commission of a project in this magnitude is quite significant."

The thin film solar plant of BestSOLAR, at present status, is the world's largest in scale, the highest level in factory automation and with the most advanced technology, that has 160,000m2 building construction areas, 330MW facility installation and Phase-1 equipment installed 130MW with start up efficiency of 8.5%.

Silicon thin film solar technology is of outstanding power generation performance under low light and high temperature conditions. It is especially suitable for building large scale solar power plant as well as for BIPV applications.

Mr. Fang also said: "While the project is under construction, we also made remarkable achievement in market development. During last a year, BestSOLAR has become globally known brand and it is the winner for China first utility scale solar power plant project, Duhuang 10MW PV power station project after standing out in the intensive competition with companies from domestic and abroad. The Dunhuang project has been directed by National Development and Reform Commission of China. "At present, BestSOLAR crystalline modules have entered into mainstream market in Europe and America. Next year, BestSOLAR thin film modules will also be sold across the world." Mr. Fang added.
