Best Solar Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. is one of the largest thin film fabs under construction worldwide. The investment of Site 1 of Best Solar SuZhou is $2.5 Billion USD with design capacity of 1GW. It will produce solar pannel by end of 2008. The investment of Site 2 of Best Solar NanChang is also $2.5 Billion USD with design capacity of 1GW. It will produce solar pannel by Q1 of 2009. By working closely with world leading Solar Equipment provider Applied Materials and other equipment leaders, the company is deploying the most advanced technology and equipments to thin film solar market. Through joint development, the company will offer products with as large as 5.7M2 thin film solar panel which is manufactured by using matured Si-Thin Film technology. The stabled converting efficiency will start with 8.5%-9%, it will be continuously improved up to 10%-12%. It is the goal of Best Solar to become world leading thin film solar provider. Best Solar products will be tested by leading US and European institutes and certified for reliability and safety. From Q1 of 2009, Best Solar will supply technology proven quality products at a very competitive pricing.
The thin film solar has number of advantages, i.e.: plenty of raw material supply, nontoxic, no contamination, low energy consumption, simple process steps and low cost. It performs well in low light condition compare to crystalline technology. Best Solar PV modules enable gridconnected solar power plants to achieve electricity production with the best performance and cost ratio. It can be used to build large scale solar farms, and it is also suitable on building roof, corridor, glass wall with building-integrated PV applications. It generates power while enhance the image of environment, it can be used as a replacement of building materials. With Best Solar and Applied Materials jointly strategic efforts, the low cost and high efficiency thin film solar is becoming the main stream solar technology.

Best Solar Company started to operation on February of 2008, it is under construction and scheduled to the first production by end of 2008, it will reach the designed capacity of 2,000MW by 2011
